Quick update: the remaining writers in the NYCMidnight Flash Fiction Challenge got assigned into 25 groups. I’m now in group #12. And here’s my prompt:

SciFi!

I can’t believe I’m so lucky.

Now:
Plotting, writing, editing.
tick-tock, time is running.
